VERIFIED INDEXING

Citations checked against the indexing registries

AutoSearch keeps a local ISSN registry of 78,665 journals, built from the official Elsevier Scopus Source List (48,765 journals) and, for Web of Science, from Wikidata (CC0, 15,835 confirmed journals). Every citation in a report can carry a Scopus or Web of Science badge with its source declared.

Scopus and Web of Science badges

Each cited journal is matched by ISSN against the registry. On a match the citation carries the badge and names the registry it came from, so a reviewer can re-check it.

Indexed-journals-only mode

A per-run switch that restricts the evidence base to journals verifiable in the Scopus and Web of Science registries. Preprints are excluded, unverifiable sources are demoted, and the report states what was left out. Built for ASN/VQR defensibility.

Verified DOIs, submission-shaped draft

Every DOI is checked against Crossref and fabricated ones are removed from the deliverable, not merely flagged. The IMRaD manuscript compiles to LaTeX with verified DOIs and indexing notes — an automated draft that still requires human review before any journal submission.

Scopus coverage from the Elsevier Scopus Source List (48,765 titles); Web of Science coverage from Wikidata (CC0) and is partial. A missing badge means unverified, never “not indexed”.

What is AutoSearch

AutoSearch is an AI research assistant that automates scientific literature reviews. Built in Switzerland, it queries 12 live sources — OpenAlex (250M papers), Crossref (140M DOIs), PubMed, arXiv, Semantic Scholar, ClinicalTrials.gov, EUR-Lex, ORCID, DBLP, DOAJ, Espacenet, Unpaywall — and checks journal indexing against the Scopus Source List and Web of Science registry to generate IMRAD-structured papers with Crossref-verified citations. Used by clinicians, compliance officers, lawyers, and researchers.

How it compares

Unlike ChatGPT or Claude.ai, which generate text from training data and may hallucinate citations, AutoSearch searches live academic databases and verifies every DOI via Crossref API. Unlike Elicit or Consensus, which focus on Q&A, AutoSearch generates complete IMRAD manuscripts with PRISMA methodology.
